We are committed to ensuring that our website and all digital content are usable by everyone, including those with disabilities. We strive to adhere to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) [2.0 / 2.1 / 2.2 - select relevant option] to make our online platform inclusive and user-friendly for all.

ACCESSIBILITY COMMITMENT

Our goal is to create an inclusive and welcoming online environment where individuals of diverse abilities can explore their inner artist. We believe that art is for everyone, and we are dedicated to providing a positive and enriching experience for all participants.

What accessibility means to us

At Inner Artist Collective, we define accessibility as the ability for all individuals, regardless of their physical or cognitive abilities, to engage in creative expression and artistic learning. We are committed to removing barriers and providing equal access to art education for everyone.

Our website initiatives

To enhance accessibility, we have implemented various measures on our website, including but not limited to:

  • Utilizing alt text for images to ensure compatibility with screen readers

  • Providing closed captioning for videos to accommodate individuals with hearing impairments

  • Designing a user-friendly interface for easy navigation and keyboard use

  • Ensuring high color contrast for readability

  • Offering adaptable content formats to support different assistive technologies

We are continuously striving to improve the accessibility of our art education services. If you encounter any accessibility barriers on our platform or have suggestions for improvement, please contact our accessibility coordinator:

Accessibility Information

Inner Artist Collective is a mobile art education and experience-based business, offering programs at a variety of community locations, schools, and event venues. Because we operate in different settings, accessibility arrangements may vary depending on the location.

However, we are committed to making our programs as accessible and inclusive as possible for individuals of all abilities.

General Accessibility Considerations

  • We aim to select venues that offer accessible parking and entry points, including wheelchair access when available.

  • Workshop spaces are generally set up to allow plenty of room for mobility devices and flexible seating arrangements.

  • For events where seating is provided, chair height and table access are considered for comfort and usability.

  • If specific accessibility features (such as elevators, restroom access, or designated parking) are available at a venue, we will include that information in event details when possible.

Support & Accommodations

  • We welcome caregivers, aides, and support staff to attend alongside participants who need assistance.

  • Participants are encouraged to let us know in advance about any specific accommodations or sensory considerations that could enhance their experience.

  • We are currently not equipped with audio induction loops, captioning, or ASL interpretation, but we are open to exploring solutions when requested in advance.

Flexible & Inclusive by Design

Our programming is designed to be adaptable, with art tools and activities that can be modified for different physical, developmental, and sensory needs. We strive to create a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment for all participants, including those in the special needs and homeschool communities.

If you have questions about a specific event location or would like to request a particular accommodation, please reach out to us directly at InnerArtistCollective@gmail.com.
